The Dawn Walk - Saturday 7th September 2024
On Saturday 7th September 2024, we held our first Dawn Walk where over 100 walkers set their alarms and set off to walk around Dorney Lake just before sunrise. Sponsored by British Airways, our charity walk raised approx £30,000 for which we are very grateful. This money will help fund our charity costs which include running our vans that collect food daily from supermarkets, and deliver daily to the charities and homeless that we support, delivering furniture to those in need and also helping our London Run that takes food and clothing to the homeless in London.
The Trustees would like to thank everyone who supported this event, Mars for supplying the chocolates for the goody bags, Tesco who supplied the water, Hamptons who provided the sponsorship boards, Martyn Pearce who offered his time to design the logo and branding, everyone who took part and British Airways for making it possible – thank you all so very much!
