Running for the Homeless - Dorney Lake, 26th October 2014

The 2014 Synthetix Run for the Homeless has been confirmed for Sunday 26th October, at Dorney Lake, SL4 6QP.

This is the second year of the event – last year was well attended and very successful (pictures from the event are at https://www.flickr.com/photos/runforthehomeless/ ).

Obviously we’re hoping this year will be even better.

We would be grateful for your help – initially by spreading the word in any way you can (by word-of-mouth, by adding a ‘Like’ on Facebook to the website http://charityrun.synthetix.com/  etc).  If you have somewhere (work, church, local shops, club, pub, etc) where you can site flyers, then if you contact John Power by email at  jpower@channel-advantage.co.uk  he will send them to you.

Then, depending on your fitness, by signing up for the Fun Run (5km) or the full Race (10km) on the website  http://charityrun.synthetix.com/

If you really can’t face the running, we will need volunteers to help on the day as stewards etc.

The event is for the sole benefit of The London and Slough Run (sponsors of the Slough Winter Night Shelter), so any way you can help will be appreciated!
